BOGO And Black Businesses

November 6, 2017

Hello and Happy Monday!

I’m almost back in the swing of things – that bronchitis and sinus infection most certainly knocked me down but I'm definitely not out! I’m thankful for all of the well wishes from our village – it means more to me than I can express.

Our projected delivery date to receive our ‘Magic Is in Our Melanin’ and ‘Man Not Target’ mugs is still the third week of November. I’m trying not to get too excited but every day that passes is a day closer to delivery - I can’t wait to hold those mugs in my hand and, quite frankly, I know you can’t either!

A big THANK YOU to those who’ve supported us thus far by purchasing our Transformation Mugs at their temporarily reduced price to make room for our new mugs. We’ve been successful in clearing out some space but we’re in need of just a bit more for our impending delivery. To accelerate the clearing-out process, we’re continuing to offer our 'Black Girl Magic' and 'Natural Love' mugs at a reduced price -$12 each or 2/$20. We've also added an offer that just can’t be passed up – if you purchase two mugs, you will receive BOTH of our new mugs at no additional cost!  This is an extremely limited time offer – blink and you’ll miss it!! And remember - if you live in the Chicagoland area, we will waive the shipping cost and deliver to you at no charge - just enter CHICAGO at checkout.

Support Black Business Owners

The Black community spent 1.3 trillion dollars last year. Unfortunately, very little those funds stayed in our communities. Now, more than ever, it is important that we support our businesses. To assist our village with finding reputable businesses that are minority owned, we’ve added a business page to our website! Our 'Buy Black' page features local Chicagoland businesses that are owned and operated by people of color. This is an ever-growing list, as we will continue to add businesses as they come to our attention. Click on the photo to go to our business page, share with your friends and family and, most importantly, SUPPORT!!

A Conversation With Dorothy Wright Tillman and Dr. Claud Washington

Black RoyalTee was one of the vendors at 'A Conversation with Dorothy Wright Tillman and Dr. Claud Anderson' at the Harold Washington Cultural Center this past Saturday.  Although I couldn’t hear the actual speakers, I could hear the rousing response and deafening applause from the crowd echoing from the auditorium - what a turn out!!!

The Harold Washington Cultural Center, located at 4701 S. Dr. Martin Luther King Drive in Chicago, supports the community with it's therapeutic theater and dance programs, and is home to Broadway in Bronzeville. The facility is also available for hosting events. Come Hang With RoyalTee!!!

This Saturday we’ll be at the Purple Ribbon Chef’s Holiday Shopping and Tasting, held at the South Side Community Arts Center, 3831 S. Michigan Avenue, Chicago from 5:00 pm - 9:00 p.m. Chef Carla Miles will be debuting new dishes for tasting and Black RoyalTee, along with other vendors, will be offering our merchandise for holiday gift shopping! There are just a few tickets left – make sure you get yours before they’re gone - we look forward to seeing you there!

As always, it takes a village to succeed and we would be nothing without ours – we very much appreciate each and every one of you – thank you for your support.

Until next time,
